Amber has been one of the few, key, and irreplaceable people in my life who have helped me get to where I am today.  She has been beyond kind, easily approached, compassionate, and invaluable to me as I have tried to figure out my life’s journey. Amber has been someone with whom I feel I can truly be myself and with whom I am completely comfortable. It is extremely hard to juggle all of your different thoughts, passions, and ambitions as you try to figure out your career; Amber has been one of the few people in my life (family and friends included) with whom I feel like I can share those often-overwhelming concerns and be free of judgement. Instead she is empathetic while giving the truest, honest, and life-applicable advice and wisdom. I am so thankful to have her as a mentor and cannot express what she has meant to me!

Not only did she help me with brainstorming for my new public health education program but she provided me with the tools to look at my program more strategically offering me better ways to tailor and market the program to certain populations.
